From Monday (8th November) it departs only once in every hour and the ferry runs between Szántód and Tihany for a shorter time – Balatoni Hajózási Zrt. wrote on its website.
The Balaton ferry, which has been launched every 40 minutes so far, departs from Szántód from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. from November 8th to 21st, and from Tihany from 7.15 a.m. to 6.15 p.m., every hour.
After November 22nd, the last flights will be delayed, i.e. from Szántód between 7.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., and from Tihany between 7.15 a.m. and 5.15 p.m.
The journey time is 8 minutes.
The ferry on Lake Balaton runs all year round, except in case of stormy winds or strong icing of the lake.
